Itinerary

Upon arrival, you will need to present a valid Canadian or American passport and a yellow fever vaccination certificate. You also need to show your Tourist Visa. Tourist Visa to be obtained online prior to departure at:www.immigration.go.tz.

After clearing immigration formalities, meet our representative and transfer you to Springlands Hotel located in the Town of Moshi close to the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight in Moshi Springlands Hotel.

Dinner

Leave Moshi town about 08:30am and drive for about 45 minutes to Marangu Gate on the eastern side of Kilimanjaro, Marangu is one of the most popular routes to the summit.

Assisted by your guide do the necessary paperwork at the park gate.

Begin hiking at about 9:30 am. Enjoy hiking through Kilimanjaro's tropical rainforest covered with mist and beautiful scenery with good luck expect some animal sightings.

Stop half way for lunch. Reach Mandara Huts located at 2700 m. take a short tour of the surroundings and start your descend back to Marangu gate.

On the way tour Maundi Crater (about 15 minutes away) where you will enjoy views of Kenya and Northern Tanzania.

Return to Moshi in the late evening.

Overall it was a trip that we will never forget!

We had an amazing time! Arriving to Nairobi, we were welcomed at the airport and taken to our hotel. The hotel was very nice and modern. The next morning we drove to Amboseli. Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable when it came to animals. We enjoyed the drives a lot.

We had a good time. Our drivers Hasan in Tanzania and Jacob in Kenya were nice and helpful. All the accommodations and transport were good. Food was good in all the places. There was delay in the flight from Chicago, hence they gave us seat in United and flew directly to Paris.

The trip was amazing! The lodges, food, people and guides were exceptional. No bad experiences at all, except I checked my luggage on the trip back from Zanzibar-Nairobi-Paris-Montreal and it got lost, but even that has not upset me, I enjoyed Africa so much!
