Itinerary

Board your International flight to Athens; we offer departures from most major Cities in the USA and Canada. You need a valid Canadian or American Passport; it must be valid for six to eight months from your exact return date.
Arrive at the Athens airport, welcome assistance, and transfer to your Athen's Hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, begin your day with a panoramic tour of the most important monuments and landmarks of Athens, including the Panathinaikon stadium, the Zappeion, the temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, Syntagma square, the Parliament, the tomb of the unknown soldier, Schliemann's house, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and the old Parliament. Next, a guided visit to the Acropolis, including the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, and the Erechtheion. Later, continue with a guided visit to the Acropolis Museum. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the city at your own pace.

After breakfast, depart towards the Peloponnese.
The first stop will be at the impressive Corinth Canal, also known as Greece's Suez. It will continue to The Epidaurus ancient Theatre, dating back to the late 4th century, famous for its incredible acoustics. The tour continues with a short stop in Nafplion, one of the most beautiful towns in Argolis. The next visit will be to the archeological site of ancient Mycenae with the Cyclopean walls, the tomb of Agamemnon, and the famous Lion's Gate.
In the afternoon, we will be crossing the mountains of the Peloponnese to arrive in Olympia for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at your hotel, depart for a tour of the Olympia.
Built on the banks of the River Alfios, Olympia is beautiful, green, and peaceful. We will enjoy a tour through the remains of the Ancient Olympia Complex (home of the original Olympic Games), including the Temple of Zeus, the Palaestra, and Phidias’s Workshop.
Continue to the local museum, one of the richest in Greece, with the impressive statue of Hermes of Praxitelis.
We will start heading north in the afternoon, driving around Patras, over the impressive Rio-Antirio bridge, through Nafpaktos and Itea, and to Delphi for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at your hotel start your tour of the archeological site of Delphi.
Ancient Greeks believed that Delphi was the Navel of the Earth, a place seen as a spiritual focal point for all Greeks; it included many sanctuaries and the most prestigious oracle in ancient Greece. This is where Pythia, the high priestess, uttered the divine advice of the god Apollo.
In the afternoon you will be crossing the mountains of central Greece to arrive in Kalambaka for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at your Hotel. Start your sightseeing with a visit to the famous Meteora Monasteries. Fantastic rock formations, like sandstone towers, stand ageless and have provided sacred retreats for monks over the centuries. The view over the plain is breathtaking. Meteora is considered among the most beautiful areas of mainland Greece.
Return to Athens with a stop at Thermopylae to admire the statue of Leonidas, king of Sparta.
