St. Kitts is located in the northern Leeward Islands of the Eastern Caribbean. St. Kitts is separated by a two mile channel from it's sister island, Nevis. The island boasts amazing beaches, with golden sands and gorgeous waters.
The main language on the island is English, and the population for St. Kitts and Nevis combined is only 46,325 people. The summer reaches a temperature of 90 degrees fahrenheit, and the winter reaches the temperature of 84 degrees fahrenheit. About one-third of St. Kitts is protected rainforest, and the island is ideal for hiking, ATV, and mountain biking excursions. There is electricity available on the island, and the currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar. Passports are required by all visitors except for Canadian Citizens, who may present a valid passport, an original copy of the birth certificate with photo ID, and a citizenship card. As well, an onward or return ticket is required.
Sightseers must be sure to visit the historic British for of Brimstone Hill, as well as the Romney Manor and the Caribelle Batik factory. Entertainment on the island also ranges from conventional clubs to beach bars and casinos.
