ITINERARY

DAY 1 - Cochin
Upon arrival at Cochin airport our representative will assist you and transfer you to your Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight in Cochin.

DAY 2 - Cochin
Enjoy breakfast at your Hotel, today tour Cochin visit the Old Parts of Fort Cochin and Mattancherry, here you will see the Dutch Palace, St Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, and the fishing market. In the evening attend a "Kathakali" a wonderful histrionic dance perfomed exclusively by males and distinguished by its amazing customes. Stay overnight in Cochin.

DAY 3 - Periyar
Check out from the Hotel after breakfast and drive 5 hours to Periyar also known as Thekkady. On arrival check on to Hotel, later take a guided plantation tour to a close by garden where various species and other aromatic plants are cultivated. Stay overnight in Periyar. Accomodation can be arranged at a comfortable cottage style forest hotel.

DAY 4 - Periyar
Early morning you will go on a guided jungle walk inside the Periyar Tiger National Park. Periyar Reserve is home to herds of elephants. You will also go for a 2 hour boat cruise on the Periyar lake. Stay overnight in Periyar.

DAY 5 - Kumarakom
After breakfast drive 3 hours to Kumarakom, it will welcome you with its bacwater paradise, ancient temples and lush tropical groves. After checking in at your Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight. Accomodation can be arranged at a luxury lake resort.

DAY 6 - Kumarakom
Breakfast at the Hotel. Today treat yourself to a general Aryuvedic full body massage and relax in the resort.

DAY 7 - Kumarakom - Alleppey by Houseboat
Morning after breakfast step onto the houseboat on a tour through the backwaters, which is a splendid area of canals, lakes and coves. The trip goes through a wonderful forest full of rice fields, palm trees, and floating water plants. Stay overnight in Houseboat.

DAY 8 - Kovalam
Disembark after breakfast and drive 3.5 hours to Kovalam "The Paradise of the South", day for leisure enjoy clean white sandy beaches great for swimming. Fairwell dinner. Stay overnight in Kovalam.

DAY 9 - Trivandrum
Tour ends. Check out after breakfast and drive to Trivandrum airport, our representative will assist you with the rest of your trip.
