Guadeloupe Flights
Guadeloupe is an eastern Caribbean archipelago comprising of several disctinct islands. The two main islands of Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre have formed in the shape of a butterfly. The two islands are connected by a bridge while ferries and small planes connect the main body of Guadeloupe with it's three major satellite isles.

The official language of Guadeloupe is French however English and Creole are widely spoken. All US citizens travelling to Guadeloupe must have a valid passport to re-enter the United States. Canadian citizens must have proof of citizenship and either a valid passport or a passport that expired not more than five years ago. Other proof of citizenship in the form of a birth certificate, or a government issued driver's license is also acceptable. A return or onward ticket is also required of all visitors. Electricity is available on the island, and the Euro is the official currency.

Guadeloupe is considered to be a state of France, and it's boulangeries, or bakeries, chic boutiques and bistros often rival the French Riviera itself. Guadeloupe cuisine offers fresh local produce and meals such as stewed conch and exotic fruit sorbets. Some interesting sightseeing spots for tourists include the National Park rain forest and the Hindu Temple of Changy.
