Curacao Flights
Curacao is located in the southwestern Caribbean, and is 35 miles off the coast of Venezuela. With it's dreamy white sand beaches, Curacao is unmistakably a Caribbean island. The main city of Willemstad is decorated in 17th and 18th century architecture, and ninety percent of the population speaks Papiamentu, a mix of Dutch, Portugese, Spanish and English. There are approximately 192,000 inhabitants on the island, which is filled with many natural wonders.

The climate averages 80 degrees fahrenheit, and there is just 21 inches of rain per year. Many sheltered beaches are found on the southwest side of the island, and some popular spots even offer kayak, snorkelling and other beach facilities. Curacao local currency is the Netherlands Antillean guilder, however U.S. dollars and major credit cards are widely accepted. A return or outward ticket on arrival with sufficent funds for accomodation and food as well as documents for returning to the country of origin are necessary for visitors to the island. All U.S. citizens must have a passport to re-enter the United States.

Sightseers should be sure not to miss the Milkve Israel Emanuel Synagogue which is the oldest synagogue in continuous use in the Western Hempisphere. As well as, the Curacao Ostrich and Game Farm, and the Christoffel National Park.
