Havana Vacation Information:

Located in the Western side of the Island, Havana is the Capital of Cuba, the heart of Nation's commercial and cultural life. Travel tips when visiting Havana: You need a valid Passport, Canadians do not need a visa, other nationalities please consult your local Cuban Consulate. A tourist Card that allows you up to 90 days stay is included with your package at no cost, there is an extra cost for the tourist card for children under 2. The currency used is the Cuban Convertible Peso, this currency is only available in Cuba therefore if you have any left make sure you exchange it back it is useless outside of Cuba. You will need to pay $25 convertible pesos in exact cash per person upon your departure, please note no other form of payment will be accepted. Credit Cards are only accepted when issued by Banks that are not USA banks, travelers cheques are rarely accepted. Since electricity voltage varies between 110v or 220v bringing an adaptor is advisable. Beware of making long distance calls, charges may be very expensive compare to other Countries, internet services are not very reliable, walkie talkies, GPS, cordless phones are not allowed in Cuba. Consume only bottled water. Travel Medical Insurance is mandatory for all visitors to Havana.
