A small archipielago with 24 kilometers of stunning beaches, Cayo Largo is located on the Caribbean side of Cuba.
Also known as Cayo Largo del Sur. To the west of Cayo Largo lies the Isle of Youth a great place for a day trip.
Cayo Largo is for travellers seeking a peaceful and relaxing vacation, with only a few hotels but many unspoiled beaches rich in wildlife here you can find sea turtles and iguanas. It's many reefs, and 32 diving sites make Cayo Largo a perfect heaven for divers, and of course the snorkelling is fantastic.
Cayo Largo's most popular things to see and do: Fly to Havana for a day, rent a moped and explore the Island, Dine by the Marina a typical Cuban meal, Sail on a Catamaran trip, Visit Isla de la Juventud and it's Marine Park, take a fishing trip (fly fishing is popular here), take a day trip to Pinar del Rio, or simply enjoy the beach.
Travel Tips when Visiting Cayo Largo: The currency is the Cuban convertible Peso, is the one intended for tourists, is only available in Cuba and is useless outside of Cuba. Credit cards and travellers cheques are only accepted if drawn from a Non USA bank. ATM machines are not available in Cayo Largo. Small Hotels may not accept travellers cheques. You will need $25 convertible pesos in cash per person when leaving Cayo Largo for your departure tax.

Valid Passport is required to enter Cuba, for Visa requirements please contact your closest Cuban Consulate. A tourist Card allowing you a 90 day stay is included with your package.
Long distance calls are very expensive in Cayo Largo, a calling card purchase is a better option, Internet may not be available or may be very unreliable, GPS, cordless phones, and walkie Talkies are not allowed in Cuba.
Bottle water is recommended while on your vacation, Medical insurance is mandatory to all visitors to Cuba.
