Cayo Coco Vacation Information:
Located on the Northern Coast in the Ciego de Avila Province, along with the Island of Cayo Guillermo are one of the most desired natural paradise in Cuba. Both Islands are connected by a causeway to the mainland. Cayo Coco's pure white sand beaches are great for families with young children. Cayo Guillermo is the ideal spot for travellers seeking a peaceful and relaxed holiday, Cayo Guillermo was Ernest Hemingway's favourite spot.
Snorkelling, Catamaran trips, Jungle Cruises, Day tours to Ciego de Avila City, Town of Moron, Turiguano Island, and deep sea fishing are only a few of the activities that you can enjoy in Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo.
The Cuban Convertible Peso is the Tourist currency and is only avalaible in Cuba, it is useless outside of Cuba. Only credit cards and traveller cheques that are not drawn in US banks are accepted. Traveller cheques may not be taken at smaller Hotels. ATM machines are rarely available.

A valid passport is required to enter Cuba. Tourist Card that allows you a 90 day stay in Cuba is provided with your package or airfare ticket.
Be cautious with long distance charges, they can be very expensive. Internet services are not always available and are not reliable, walkie talkies, GPS, and cordless phones are not allowed in Cuba.
Medical Insurance is mandatory for all passengers arriving to Cuba.
