Portland Flights

The city of Portland is located in the State of Oregon, near the Columbia and Willamette rivers. Portland’s population of about two million is relaxed and laid back. People in this city like in any US city are attached to their cell phones and laptops but still have the time have the time to stop and do the little things like smelling the roses from a garden abundant in the streets of Portland.

Espresso gets Portlanders moving in the morning, but it is beer that really makes their day. It is such the amount of brewpubs in the city that it has been nicknamed “Munich on the Willamette”.

There are few things to do for visitors in the city itself but not far from there you could take a stroll along a Pacific Ocean beach, hike on Mount Hood or driving to Oregon wine country to sample some pinot noir, a red grape variety used to make wine.
