Honolulu is a great destination for surfers, you can surf the waves in Waikiki Beach, or pro taking the bonsai Pipeline on the North Shore. You can visit the Polynesian Cultural Center and experience the world's largest Polynesian night show, or check out the legendary Duke's, Lulu's and the Mai Tai Bar. Also don't forget to visit the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor.
While in Kauai visit "The Wailua Falls" one of Hawaii's most beautiful and easily accessible waterfalls, you can also go hiking the 11 mile Kalalau Trail along the Napali Coast. For the adventurers you can go canoeing or kayaking in the rivers of Kauai, or cruise by riverboat up the Wailua River to the jungle retreat of the Fern Grotto. Don't forget to visit the Waimea Canyon, enjoy the stunning view from Kalalau Lookout. Hike up to the breathtaking Kokee State Park for a view of a life time and picnic lunch.
Things to do in Maui are taking a boat trip to tiny Molokini Island for unparalleled diving or snorkelling, visit the Iao Needle in Iao Valley State Park, or visit the famous banyan tree, planted in 1873, this sprawling tree is the size of an entire city block, you can also take the long, winding drive along Maui's rugged eastern coastline to the peaceful town of Hana (and experience the 617 curves and 56 one-lane bridges!), and last but not least hike Maui's highest peak to the Haleakala Crater (10,000 feet above sea level).
The largest of the Islands, the big island of Hawaii is still growing thanks to Kilauea, its still active volcano, which bubbles into the Ocean 4,000 feet below!. While on the Big Island you can star gazing in the darkness of the Pacific night, the Ellison Onizuka Center for International Astronomy 9,300 feet atop Mauna Kea is a favourite for amateur astronomers and hopeless romantics alike. Make sure you visit the "Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historic Park" - one of Hawaii's most sacred historic places.
