Denver Flights

Called “the Mile High City” for its location at 5,280 feet above sea level, Denver is one of the few cities not built near the ocean, lake, or river. In 1858 gold was discovered in the area and a tent camp quickly set up. In 1859 Denver was named after James Denver, at the time governor of the Kansas Territory.

Visit the Elitch Gardens which opened in 1890, by no means an outdated park you can enjoy the latest roller coaster and state of the art rides. Beat the heat of summer time at the 64 acre beautifully landscaped Water World Park.

Denver is home to professional sports teams like the Denver Nuggets of the NBA, the Denver Broncos of the NFL, the Colorado Rockies baseball team, the Colorado Rapids of the MLS, just to name a few.
