Brussels Flights

Brussels is the capital city of Belgium and it has a population over 1.8 million people. Since the end of World War II it has been the heart of international politics. NATO has its headquarters in Brussels and is home to politicians and civil servants. The city has grown from a 10th century fortress to a metropolis. Originally a Dutch speaking city, French is spoken by most people in Brussels, although both languages are official languages, French is more widely spoken.

Architecture is diverse in Brussels, from the medieval structures on Grand Place to EU institution buildings. Other famous landmarks include the Royal Place, the Atomium a symbolic 103 meter structure, the Cinquantenaire Park that includes the Triumphal Arc, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the Brussels Stock Exchange, the Palace of Justice and the European Quarter among others.

Brussels is home to over 80 museums, which include the Museum of Modern Art, and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium.
