The sights, sounds and flavours of a Jamaican wedding and honeymoon are as varied and vivid as the imagination. Couples can choose the "let it all be done for you" experience of an all-inclusive resort or plan a more intimate and personal experience. There is also a seemingly endless choice of things to do: Jamaica has more than 140 licensed attractions, many of which are best experienced as a couple, from climbing Dunn's River Falls to bamboo river rafting down the Martha Brae. And finally, and maybe most importantly, Negril features some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world.

Visitors can be married just 24 hours after arriving in Jamaica, providing prior application has been made for a marriage license. The cost of a license is around $60 to $65 USD. The following documentation is required: proof of citizenship (certified copy of birth certificate with father's name); proof of divorce if applicable (original certificate of divorce); certified copy of death certificate for widow or widower. French Canadians need a notarised trans-lated copy of all documents and a photocopy of the original French documents.
