Panama City - Panama Hotel: Royal Decameron

I enjoyed Panama very much, primarily because we had fabulous weather every day and the ocean was warm. The Royal Decameron is a huge resort and a little too big and busy for my own preferences; however, it was very clean, the food was plentiful, fresh and there was a great variety. The RC staff were all very customer service oriented and ready with a smile. The room was small but, more important to me, it was clean (they could use new pillows though). I was one of the fortunate ones with a room that was only a 10 minute walk to the main lobby, I did not need to wait for a shuttle. The RC is excellent value for the cost. Some Traveller 01/31/12

Punta Cana - Dominican Republic Hotel: Punta Cana Princess

Our trip was amazing! The hotel was the best we had ever stayed at. The staff was great and always there to tend to our needs. The only thing I would mention to other people is that the hotel does not supply you with face clothes. Luckily we had taken a couple with us from home so we were okay. But for anybody that doesn't do this, I don't know if the hotel has any, if you were to ask them or not. The beach was amazing, I would definitely go back there again!!! Celebrity - Cruise Hotel: Not Available

Joan, we had a great trip. We were impressed with the Celebrity Cruise Line, and the ship was new, and impressive. Our cabin was lovely, and we really enjoyed having the veranda. We will be go again. Punta Cana - Dominican Republic Hotel: Excellence Punta Cana

My husband and I had a wonderful trip! Excellence Punta Cana was gorgeous! We were greated with a honeymooners banner, fruit and champagne. We really enjoyed the food and the service was incredible. The staff were very polite and our maid went above and beyond to provide a very enjoyable stay. We enjoy our romantic dinner and took full advantage of the 24h room service!! The only improvement I see is with our sunquest rep. Our meeting was planed for Tuesday at 4:20 pm (we had arrived at 3am that morning) and the rep did not show up. He or She was not scheduled to be back at the hotel until Saturday and we were leaving on Monday. We did not make contact with him or her because the time he or she was scheduled at was 5-5:30 and we were getting ready for dinner on new years eve. The sheet that informed us of our pick up time was placed in the wrong section on the binder. Because our rep was not there to help us book an excursion we booked on through the water sports centre (to catalina island) and it is was just horrible!! We would love to visit the Excellence resort again (maybe for an anniversary because it is more than we would usually spend on a trip!). However, I would rather book with another tour company - not Sunquest. Thanks! Natasha 01/16/12

Montego Bay - Jamaica Hotel: Breezes Trelawny

Our recent trip to Jamaica was very good. I was very impressed with the food, it was excellent, The resort was clean and the rooms were relatively updated. My only two comments are: The Resort is in dire need of a face lift and at night it was very hard to sleep because of the entertainment and noise levels from other guests. However, had we changed rooms in the beginning this could have been avoided. Otherwise, all good. Stacey 01/13/12

Panama City - Panama Hotel: Royal Decameron

WOW - Panama was fantastic!!!! No joke!! The Royal Decameron was by far the best place I have ever been. The weather was fantastic. I am more tanned than all people at school here who went to Dominican, Cuba, Mexico etc. They all said the weather in those places wasn't great. I am sooo glad we went to Panama. Also the Canadians there that we met said they booked Panama because of the guarantee for weather this time of year. We would definitely go back. The resort handled 5 buses of Torontonians (250 people) at check in with the smoothest possible. We were in with room keys, safety deposit keys and rum drinks within 5 minutes of getting off the bus! I talked with my mom who also used to be a travel agent and she was also shocked at the level of efficiency the hotel got everyone in and out.... unbelievable! Jennifer 01/11/12

Punta Cana - Dominican Republic Hotel: Zoetry Agua Punta Cana

Just a quick line to let you know that Zoetry Agua in Punta Cana is a fabulous resort. The resort is quiet and tranquil, the service is friendly and the food is very good... a lot of good seafood, home made jams for breakfast... yum. The rooms are spacious with nice bathrooms, and the balconies/terraces are well furnished and a pleasure to spend time on. The pool is lovely and there was always plenty of towels and loungers to be found. The spa is a nice experience as well. If I had to make a negative comment it would be that the plumbing/sewage system is not the best as there was a bad smell in some of the ground level suites. On a positive note as soon as we reported the bad smell there was a friendly staff member with a bottle of air freshener.... not the answer we hoped for but still. The beach is lovely but the ocean has a strong current and there is a coral reef close to shore so it's not ideal for swimming as you can get dragged in to and scraped by the coral. As a side note, this is not a party place, it is quiet during the day and in the evening too. Overall I would definitively go back again and I would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend, just book a room on the upper floor. Hope this helps. Sandra 01/10/12

Riviera Maya - Mexico Hotel: Grand Xcaret Occidental

We were not disappointed. My wife did not like the resort because there is no beach but we knew about that so we can't blame the resort. I found the food to be very good, one of the best from all AIs we've been to, the staff was extremely friendly. really nothing to complain about except the lack of real beach. Punta Cana - Dominican Republic Hotel: Bavaro Princess

I enjoyed my trip and I liked the resort. The biggest complaint that I had was the size of the resort which would not have been such a problem had my room not been on the main drag and I had to listen and watch all the traffic go by. Also fridge freezer broken just the remaining block of ice from what must have been the freezer compartment. Also jacuzzi tub jets worked for 1 minute after filling and getting in... didn't report either of these because was pretty busy and did not want to move at that point... in future I would view room before unpacking and then ask to be moved. The large size of the resort does have its perks I guess in the number of restaurants and night time entertainment... the food was great... Christmas eve buffet and entertainment excellent... beach awesome. I had a hard time communicating with staff... I think I would try and take some basic Spanish if I were to go again... I would definitely choose one of the Princess resorts on the same beach for another visit. S. 01/10/12

Cairo - Egypt Hotel: in Egypt

Thank you very much for arranging such a nice trip and specially the Indian dinner. All the arrangements from airport pickup to drop-off were perfect. Everything was timely arranged. We didn't have to worry about anything. Hotels were very nice. The tip to take $1 bills for tipping was very helpful. My whole family enjoyed the trip very much. Everything was perfect. We will definitely contact you for our future vacation. My relative's friend Shiva from CT who also booked through you was also on the same boat. Only 1 thing that I think can be improved is the pricing on the optional trips. I am sure that South Sanai Travels is quoting you higher price and you can't offer less then that, but if they give you better price then you can offer better price to your customers. Los Cabos - Mexico Hotel: Dreams Los Cabos

We had a great time at the Dreams although the quality of this location was not as good as Dreams Riviera Cancun which we stayed last year. I would say the quality of the food can improve to be similar to Dreams Riviera Cancun. The Patio restaurant (Buffet) was very limited. Thank you for your follow-up, have a wonderful new year. Cayo Coco - Cuba Hotel: Tryp Cayo Coco

Thanks for your email. We very much enjoyed Cayo Coco and the Tryp Hotel. The hotel itself is quite dated and requires some work. The staff however were excellent, very friendly and not 'tip hungry' as we had been warned. The beaches are beautiful, we spent most of our time there. The food was fine, well within our expectations for Cuba. We would definitely return, mostly for the excellent staff. Sue 12/29/11

Holguin - Cuba Hotel: Playa Costa Verde

Thank you for asking about our trip. My husband and I had a great time. The hotel, the Play Costa Verde in Holguin was great. After emailing them with a room request they were able to accommodate our requests. Will definitely go back. Only complaint were the mosquitoes (no-see-ums). We came home looking like we had some sort of skin disease. We recommend this hotel and will hopefully be returning sometime in February. Laurie 12/28/11
