Munich Flights

Munich or Munchen home to close to 1.5 million people is the capital of the State of Bavaria. The city is situated north of the Bavarian Alps and on the Isar River. Munich is the third largest city in Germany only Berlin and Hamburg are bigger. Just like Americans migrate to New York for better opportunities, Germans migrate to Munich; and the city is full of non-Bavarians. More than two-thirds of German citizens that live in Munich come from every part of the country plus thousands of immigrants from every part of the world.

Oktoberfest is an annual event celebrated in Munich, the celebration that started as a minor sideshow to a royal wedding in the 1800’s became the symbol of Munich. The festival brings in 7 million tourists every year. Oktoberfest is so popular that dozens of places around the world have created their own version of the event.
