Madrid’s summers are hot and dry, the hottest months being July and August. Winters are chilly with temperatures just above the freezing mark; there is hardly any snowfall during the winter. The best time (climate wise) to visit Madrid is in the spring during the month of May just in time for the start of the bullfighting season.
