Frankfurt Flights

Frankfurt is the fifth largest city in Germany, its huge airport is the main connecting point for travellers along with 19th century railway station, it is the busiest in Europe. This is an industrial city; Frankfurt is home to more than 2450 factories. The Bundesbank, Germany’s central bank is also located in Frankfurt, making it the country’s financial center.

One and a half million people attend Frankfurt’s international trade fairs in the spring and fall. Among the fairs is the Motor show, the Cookery Fair, the Textile and Chemical Fairs, but the most popular being the International Book Fair the event bring in almost 5,500 publishers from some 100 countries. Places to visit in Frankfurt include the Deutsches Filmmuseum (German Film Museum), the Historisches Museum (Historical Museum), the Museum of Applied Arts, and more. Main sights in Frankfurt: Saint Bartholomeus Cathedral, Roemer, the town hall at Romerberg, St. Paul’s Church, the Old Opera House, the Frankfurt Opera House, Saint Katherine’s Church just to name a few.
